The terminal is a place where you witness the majority of Iranians migrate from the West of the country to the capital. At the terminal thousands of people migrate to Tehran on a daily basis.
I also migrated to Tehran and currently live downtown of the capital. There are more working class folk on my street than any other place I’ve been to in the capital. When out for a walk, or grocery shopping, on my way to the gym beneath the trees you can see people in thought, in thought of leaving the country.
When someone has experienced and lived through migration it becomes easier for them to migrate again. In the meantime I go to my English classes and I don’t know till when I too will be in-between the trees amongst the people in my street.
